Diwali is the largest and the most important festival of India, to the scale of the Christmas and New Year’s celebration. Diwali celebrates the victory of good over evil, where every household lights colorful lamps to welcome Goddess Lakshmi, symbol of wealth and prosperity. Hosted by Federation of Indo-Americans of Northern California, a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 this year Grand Diwali Mela will happen on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Mission San Jose high school.
